教学目标：
1、知识与技能：能够听、说、读、写以下词汇：welcome ,meet,our,library.能够听说句子welcome to our school,用“There is … There are …”介绍物品。用“There are…”表示对复数物品的所有。学习单词Living room, TV, sofa, armchair, ball培养学生对于未知事物的探索与热爱。
2.过程与方法：设置情境，联系学校实际，听录音、图片展示、情景模仿和角色表演。
情感态度与价值观：从对话上让学生感知、模仿、学习和体验，最终引导学生进行交际，并培养学生从了解学校到热爱学校的积极情绪。

Step 1 Warming up
T（出示钢笔）：There is a pen in the classroom.
S（出示两只钢笔）：There are two pens in the classroom.
反复操练，让每个同学都结合自身说一句该句型的句子。
Step 2 Presentation and drill
1、 T（拿起一本学生的书）：There is a book in the classroom.
T（拿起两本学生的书）：There are two books in the classroom.
板书并教学句型“There are two books.”。
2、 收集一些学生的笔放在讲台上，引导学生运用以下对话：
S1: There is a book in my hand.
S2: There are two books in my hand.
S1: There are three books in my hand.
3、 出示教学挂图。
T(指着挂图上的一只猫)：There is a cat in the classroom.
T(指着挂图上的两只猫)：There are two cats in the classroom.
4、用同样的方法教学单词kite和ball。
5、听课文录音，让同学猜课文大致意思。
6、打开书，听录音，验证问题答案。
7、自由朗读，然后分角色表演课文部分内容。
Step 3 Practice
游戏 ——Completing the conversation.（补全对话)
将未说完的对话补充完整。如“There are two cats. Can you see them?”，可让学生补充“Yes, I can.”或“No, I can’t.”。
Step 4 Consolidation
1、 创设情景，自由会话。
情景：小米邀请小黑去家里做客，小黑看到了小米的卧室。小黑看到了一张床，两个沙发，四个风筝等等。
S1: Look at my living room.
S2: There is a new bed in the living room.
S1: There are two sofas in the living room.
S2: …
让学生大胆发挥想象，自由创设其他情景进行对话。
作业布置1. 熟读并背诵课文部分。（选做）
