head , ear, eye,   mouth, nose, throat , neck, back, hand, arm, leg, tooth-teeth, foot-feet ,   matter, have a cold, stomachache, backache, headache, toothache

2)Ss can use the   following sentence patterns:

What’s the matter? I   have a stomachache. /I have a sore back. /I have a cold.

He/She   has a sore throat.

一、查学诊断

1.        Teacher:  Ask students to finish 1a. Check their   answers.

Ss:  Give their answers to 1a one by one.

2.        Teacher:  Translate the following phrases:

1.胃痛/感冒/发烧                        

2.量体温               3.躺下         4.休息

Please read and complete the sentences.

你怎么了?我肚子疼。你下次不应该吃这么多。

 Whats                   ? I                       .

You           eat so much next time.

本怎么了?他背痛,他应该躺下来休息。

  Whats the                    Ben? He        a        back, he                          and rest.

设计意图:检查学生的预习情况。


二、示标导入

1. Show learning aims.

Teacher: Show learning aims to the Ss.

Ss: Read learning aims, know what they   will learn in this class.

设计意图:使学生了解本节课所要学习的内容。

2.Warming up    (Repeat 4 times)

Teacher:   Lets   enjoy and sing an English song: Head and shoulders knees and toes

Ss:   listen and sing the song

Head   and shoulder knees and toes Knees and toes, knees and toes,

Head   and shoulder knees and toes Eyes, ears, mouth, nose

设计意图:课前通过听唱英文歌曲既熟悉了本节课要学的身体各部位的名称,又使学生能够迅速地融入到英语课堂中来。

三、导学施教

Step 1.   learn the new words

1).   Show them a picture of a toy girl, teach the parts of the body one by one by   touching it. While teaching one, let them touch or show it.

设计意图:用自身来教学新的单词,直观、形象生动

2).   Brainstorm

TeacherShow the pictures of   a body part. let the Ss say the parts of the body.  Ss: Say the names of the body parts.

设计意图:Brainstorm的图片可以激发学生的兴趣,有利于单词的巩固记忆。

Step   2. Play a game: Touch the parts of your body

Let   the whole class touch the parts of their body when teacher say: Touch your

Ask   Ss to come to the blackboard and write down the names of bodies.

设计意图:利用游戏来巩固使用刚学过的单词,让学生的感官充分地动起来,通过听输入信息,又通过动作来输出信息。

Step 3. Presentation and practice

T:   Are you happy?

 Ss: Yes, we are.

T:   When theres something wrong with your body, are you   still happy?

Ss:   No.

T:   Look at the picture, is he happy?

Ss:   No, he isnt.

T:   Why?(Help the Ss to answer: He has a stomachache.

设计意图:happy这个单词引出the man whos not happy because he has a stomachache.为引出其他的种种不适做铺垫。

Present   other pictures, talk about health problems of the persons in the pictures.

Whats the matter?

He/   She has a headache/ toothache /a sore back/ a sore throat/a cold and a cough.

设计意图:用形象生动的图片来引出本课要掌握的句型,有利于学生对新知识的掌握。

1.        Let   the Ss practice in pairs

设计意图:以两两对话的形式来操练句型,巩固新句型的使用。

4.  T: Suppose there is something wrong with   your body, please use gestures to show it .You may say: I have a headache. I   have a sore throat.

Make   a model dialogue with two Ss.

Let   the Ss practice in pairs.

设计意图:从第三人称过渡到第一人称,表达自己对他人生病的情感,也就很容易掌握了。

Step 4.  listen and say

Work   on Section A 1b, listen and number the names 1-5.

Talk   about the health problems of the persons in the picture. Eg: Nancy has a   toothache, Sarah has a cold,

Work   on Section A 2a, 2b

2a.   Listen. Match the problems with the advice.

2b.   Listen again . Fill in the blanks.

2c.   Pair work.. Role play the conversations in 2b. Let the Ss read the   conversations in 2c first. Then work in pairs, make a new conversation   according to 2b.

设计意图:培养学生的听说能力。

Step 5. Pair work

Do 2c. Role play the conversations in 2b.   Let the Ss read the conversations in 2c first. Then work in pairs, make a new

conversation according to 2b.

设计意图:借助课本上的练习进行操练。达到巩固新知识的目的。

Step 6. Role play 2d

1.        Teacher: lets listen and try to answer

1). Whats the matter with Lisa?   Why?

2). What should she do?

Ss: Listen and answer the questions.

设计意图:培养学生的听力能力。

2.        Teacher:   Now lets role play the conversation.

Ss: Role play the conversation.

设计意图:借助课本上的练习进行操练。达到巩固新知识的目的。

四、练测促学

Teacher:    Lets do Section A 4a

Ss:  Do   Section A 4a. Then check their answers.

设计意图:此环节是综合运用知识的部分, 用知识解决实际中碰到的问题。使其感受到学有所用。

五、拓展延伸

设计意图:通过小结本节课所学内容对课堂学到的知识进行巩固。

2.   Homework: Do Section A 4b

设计意图:学生展示更多的情境,在掌握课本知识后拓展,学到更多保持健康的方法,更灵活地运用句型。
