高一英语 [必修 2]Unit 5Music reading 说课稿

     昌吉州一中 王婷婷       

教学内容:warming-up and reading (comprehending)

教材分析:本单元的话题是Music,它是中学生日常生活中比较感兴趣的话题之一。它中心话题是“音乐”和“音乐类型”,单元的各项活动的设计都是围绕着以音乐类型和不同音乐对人的影响展开的。而对于音乐和音乐家,这种学生感兴趣的话题容易调动学生学习的参与性和积极性,让学生对不同种类的音乐的英文说法加以熟悉和理解,开阔的学生的视野

教学目标

1. 知识目标:1)to express their like about the bands and kind of music

            2) understand and try to use the words: Jazz, folk, musician, pretend, attach, form, passer-by, extra, performance, instrument, pub, cash, studio, millionaires, rely, broadcast, humorous, familiar , broke up

2 能力目标

1)Sum up the main idea of each paragraph.

2)Understand the details about the passage.

3)the development of the Monkees

3 情感目标:

Enjoy and appreciate different kinds of music

教学重难点

 Main points: Get the students to acquire the information from the passage to fulfill the task of effective reading enforce the skill of skimming and skanning

Difficulty: make the students express how they feel about different music and bands by using what they have learnt

、教学方法

1.教法:图片激活法,任务型教学法,知识迁移法。

2.学法:根据高一学生的年龄特点采用小组合作法,游戏竞赛法

3.教学准备:教室,课件,学案

 

 

  教学步骤

Step 1 Warming-up
1.Before the class begins, let the Ss enjoy “I’m a believer” played by “The Monkees”.

2.Elicit kinds of music and get students familiar with the meaning of them
3.Let the Ss enjoy some different kinds of music  and ask them to match the music with the right kind.

设计意图:通过音乐欣赏和介绍使学生能够说出不同音乐形式的名称完成连线练习。


Step 2 Pre-reading
 1)Talk about the famous bands in the world. Ask the Ss: Have you heard about any of the famous bands in the world?  List some if you have.
2)Then the teacher will play a guessing game ,showing the Ss the description of some famous bands like “SHE, “FIR MAYDAY”“ Backstreet Boys”, “West Life” and “Zero O’clock” on the screen and ask the Ss to name the bands   

 3)Ask the Ss: Which one do you like best? Why? By using the sentence pattern: I like/prefer/appreciate…… because..
4)Ask the Ss: Dou you know anything about “The Monkees”?
Then the teacher will show the Ss two pictures of “The Monkees” and say: If you want to know more about “The Monkees”, please turn to Page33 and let’s come to Reading “The Band That Wasn’t”. 

设计意图:通过游戏过程中词汇及句型的输入,让学生用重点词汇及句表达观点


Step 3  fast  reading
  Read the passage quickly and find out the main idea of each paragragh. 
设计意图:通过速读,让学生理解段落大意。
Step 4 careful reading

Read the passage carefully and finish the tasks:

1 true or false

2 fill in the form

设计意图:通过精读,使同学们掌握文章细节。

Step5 post-reading

1. Retell the passage by filling the blanks

2 Discussion in pairs how they feel about the monkees .   Give the Ss the following adjectives “popular, lively, funny, foolish, attractive, brave, crazy, noisy, classical, rich, honest, famous” and ask them to choose the ones that they think best describe “The Monkees” and give their reasons. encourage the Ss to express their opinions.

设计意图:通过复述文章内容,强化记忆使学生能说出the monkees乐队的发展。通过讨论使学生对乐队和不同种类的音乐形式有更多的了解,能用简单的句子说出不同类型的音乐对人的影响。
