一、查学诊断(句型转换)

Students activity: do   the exercises in pairs.

Teachers activity: walk   around the class and offer some help.

1. Peter did his homework last night. (改为否定句)

2 There were some children in the park just   now. (变一般疑问句,并进行否定回答)

设计意图:通过完成练习检测学生是否熟练掌握本单元的重点句型,尤其是be动词的各种句型。

Step 1: warming   up.

 Teacher asks: What did Bob and Linda do on   her last school trip? How was your school trip?

 Student′s activity: The students answer the teacher′s question one by one.

设计意图: 通过师生间的对话,使他们熟练使用一般过去时谈论发生过的事。让学生学会用简单的形容词描述自己的周末。

Teachers activity: Let students fill in the blanks,   check the answer .

Student′s activity:   ss read the two short stories twice and try to finish them in pairs.

Pre-writing.

Teacher asks: Do you know how to write an   essay?

Ss   observe the passages and find the forms.

3. While-writing Write your own note.

设计意图:通过复习语法使学生进一步了解一般过去时的句法,通过练习巩固一般过去时的用法。
